EU Registry — Reading Submission Status on Your Passports
Registry status values
Mock mode simulation
Before the registry launches (July 2026), EU Digital Passport Processor™ simulates the full lifecycle:
- 0–30 seconds after submission: status shows Submitted
- 30–90 seconds: status shows Validating with a spinner
- After 90 seconds: status shows Registered and a mock ID is assigned (e.g. EU-DPP-2026-XXXXXXXX)
This lets you test and understand the complete submission flow before the live registry exists.
What to do if your submission is rejected
Read the error
EU Digital Passport Processor™ shows the specific error code, field name, and a plain-English explanation on the passport detail page.
Fix the issue
Click Fix and resubmit to scroll to the relevant field. Update the data and save.
Resubmit
Click Submit to EU Registry again from the passport detail page.
Common rejection reasons
VALIDATION_ERROR: A required Annex XIII field is missing or incorrectly formatted. Check all mandatory fields are complete and correctly formatted.
DUPLICATE_IDENTIFIER: Your passport number is already registered by another operator. Use a unique passport number.
OPERATOR_NOT_REGISTERED: Your Operator ID is not recognised by the registry. Check the ID in Settings.
SCHEMA_MISMATCH: The passport was built against an outdated Annex XIII schema. EU Digital Passport Processor™ will notify you when a schema update is available.
