EU DPP Registry submission pipeline · operational
Pricing

Priced like infrastructure, not a quote you chase.

An annual platform licence for each goods-group module your organisation runs, Battery today, with Steel, Textiles and others as the regulation activates them. Then, per passport: a small one-off activation fee when it goes live, and passport custody for each year it stays live, both set by battery category. Mandatory in-EU backup hosting and full-period retention are included. Published in EUR and GBP, other currencies on request.

ANNUAL PLATFORM LICENCE · BATTERY MODULE

Covers the Battery module. Each goods group is a separate module at the same structure.

€10,000 / yr

Per organisation, annually in advance. The full pipeline: ingestion, validation, EU DPP Registry submission under our qualified seal, reconciliation, and audit-evidence hosting for the mandated retention period. The licence does not scale with volume.

  • Ingestion: SFTP, REST, webhook, supplier portal
  • Validation engine & EU DPP Registry submission pipeline
  • Audit-evidence hosting & backup, bundled
PER-PASSPORT CHARGES
from €2.50 / activation

Two charges per passport, both set by battery category. A one-off activation fee when you make the passport live, then passport custody for each year it stays live. Drafts and edits are not billed; retired and superseded passports cost nothing.

  • Activations invoiced monthly, in arrears
  • Custody billed once a year, on live passports only
Per-passport rates

One activation fee and one custody fee, per category.

Each battery category carries a pair: a one-off activation fee, and passport custody for each year the passport stays live. Other goods-group modules carry their own rates, set when they launch. Published in EUR and GBP; other currencies on request.

€10,000 / yr annual platform licence per goods-group module. The pairs below are per passport, by battery category.

WHY CUSTODY IS ANNUAL

The duty to keep the record accurate doesn’t end at the sale.

Under Article 77, the operator that places a battery on the EU market must keep its passport accurate, complete, accessible and up to date for the battery's whole market life. That duty does not stop when the battery is sold, and it does not follow the buyer. While it runs, we hold and serve the record on your behalf: hosting, in-EU backup, full-period retention, EU registry synchronisation and state-of-health updates. Passport custody is that holding, charged per live passport, per year. When the regulation releases you, because a second-life battery is a new placing by a new operator, or end-of-life and recycling close the record, the fee releases with it.

  • Custody applies to live passports only. Retired and superseded passports cost nothing, ever; archive retention is included.
  • No charge per amendment and no charge per registry submission — correct and resubmit a passport as often as the regulation requires; neither is metered.
EXAMPLE — INDUSTRIAL BATTERY, BY ANNUAL VOLUME

Industrial battery passports at three annual volumes: the platform licence plus one-off activations in the first year, then the custody that recurs each year on the passports still live.

Illustrative, not a quote. Year-one total is the platform licence plus one-off activations. Custody is billed at your subscription anniversary on the passports still live and recurs each year; retired and superseded passports drop out. EUR and GBP at the same figure; other currencies on request.

Standalone backup

Backup bought on its own, by operators who host their own passports.

If you run your own DPP infrastructure and need only the independent backup copy, you can buy that copy by itself. The structure mirrors the platform: an annual custody service fee for each goods-group module, plus a per-passport fee for each year a passport stays live in our custody. There is no activation fee. Published in EUR and GBP at the same figure, other currencies on request.

ANNUAL CUSTODY SERVICE FEE · BATTERY MODULE

Covers the Battery module. Each goods group is a separate module at the same structure.

€10,000 / yr

Per organisation, annually in advance. Independent custody of the passport data you push to us: ingest, encrypted storage in the EU, retention for the full period, on-demand export and restore.

  • No activation fee. Custody begins at first ingest.
  • No volume tiers and no caps.
  • Retired and superseded passports are not charged.
  • Registry reconciliation is included, in the standalone service and inside the platform fee alike. It is never a paid add-on.
PER-PASSPORT CUSTODY FEE
from €5 / passport / yr

One annual fee for each year a passport stays live in custody, set by battery category. The same figures as the platform's custody rates, because the record we hold and the duty we carry are the same.

  • Service fee billed annually in advance
  • Per-passport fees billed once a year, on live passports only

€10,000 / yr annual custody service fee per goods-group module. The rates below are per passport in custody, by battery category.

WHY IT IS NOT A DISCOUNT

The backup duty does not shrink because you built your own pipeline.

Article 11(c) lets an economic operator host the primary passport itself. The backup duty in Article 10(4) is a different thing: Article 2(32) defines the service provider as an independent third party, so an internal second copy, however well engineered, does not discharge it. What the fee buys is the discharge of that duty for the life of the product, including after the operator itself is gone, because under Article 11(e) the record must survive insolvency, liquidation and cessation of trading. That liability is identical whichever system the primary passport runs on, so the custody service fee is identical too.

  • One fee structure, whoever hosts the primary passport: no volume tiers, no caps, and nothing charged for retired or superseded passports.
  • Whether one provider may supply both the primary hosting and the independent backup is unsettled. The DPP Service Provider Delegated Act, indicatively Q2 to Q3 2027, has not been adopted.
EXAMPLE · STANDALONE BACKUP, INDUSTRIAL BATTERY, BY ANNUAL VOLUME

The same three annual volumes, bought as standalone backup: the custody service fee plus the per-passport fee on the passports in custody. There is no activation row, because there is no activation fee.

Annual total€15,000€60,000€510,000

Illustrative, not a quote. The annual total is the custody service fee plus the per-passport fee on the passports in custody that year. There is no activation fee, at any volume. The per-passport fee recurs for each year a passport stays live, so a second year of production is charged on top of the first while the first-year passports remain in custody; retired and superseded passports drop out. EUR and GBP at the same figure; other currencies on request.

No hidden line items

One platform licence, published per-passport rates, nothing to chase.

Backup and full-period retention are inside the platform licence, because the record must persist, and they are never charged as an extra. Self-hosting operators buy the same custody service on its own, at the rates published above. Activation and custody are published by battery category, so you can model your total cost, the first year and every year after, before you ever talk to us.

No per-seat pricing

Your whole team works on one account. You pay for passports placed on the EU market, not logins.

Backup is not an upsell

If your passports run on this platform, in-EU backup hosting and full-period retention are inside the platform licence and are never charged as an extra. If you host your own passports, the same custody service is sold on its own, priced in its own right on this page.

Transparent on purpose

Compliance buyers distrust “contact us” pricing. The structure is public so you can budget first.
