Priced like infrastructure, not a quote you chase.
A flat platform fee for each goods-group module your organisation runs — Battery today; Steel, Textiles and others as the regulation activates them. Then, per passport: a one-off activation fee, and an annual maintenance fee for each year the passport stays live — both set by battery category, maintenance always 20% of activation. Mandatory in-EU backup hosting and full-period retention are bundled. Published in EUR and GBP, other currencies on request.
Covers the Battery module. Each goods group is a separate module at the same structure.
Per organisation, annually in advance. The full pipeline — ingestion, validation, EU EES submission, reconciliation, and audit-evidence hosting for the mandated retention period.
- Ingestion: SFTP, REST, webhook, supplier portal
- Validation engine & EU EES submission pipeline
- Audit-evidence hosting & backup, bundled
Two charges per passport, both set by battery category. A one-off activation fee when you make the passport live, then an annual maintenance fee — exactly 20% of activation — for each year it stays live. Drafts and edits aren’t billed; retired and superseded passports cost nothing.
- Activations invoiced monthly, in arrears
- Maintenance billed once a year, on live passports only
One activation fee and one maintenance fee, per category.
Each battery category carries a pair: a one-off activation fee, and an annual maintenance fee — exactly 20% of activation — for each year the passport stays live. Other goods-group modules carry their own rates, set when they launch. Published in EUR and GBP; other currencies on request.
€5,000 / yr platform fee per goods-group module, charged once a year. The pairs below are per passport, by battery category.
| Category | Scope | Activation · one-off | Maintenance · per live passport / yr |
|---|---|---|---|
| LMT battery | light means of transport | €25Activation · one-off | €5 / yr |
| Industrial battery | > 2 kWh · incl. SBESS | €50Activation · one-off | €10 / yr |
| EV battery | traction | €75Activation · one-off | €15 / yr |
The duty to keep the record accurate doesn’t end at the sale.
Under Article 77, the operator that places a battery on the EU market must keep its passport accurate, complete, accessible and up to date for the battery’s whole market life. That duty does not stop when the battery is sold, and it does not follow the buyer. While it runs, we hold and serve the record on your behalf — hosting, in-EU backup, full-period retention, EU registry synchronisation and state-of-health updates. The maintenance fee is that holding: 20% of the activation fee, per live passport, per year. When the regulation releases you — a second-life battery is a new placing by a new operator; end-of-life and recycling close the record — the fee releases with it.
- Maintenance applies to live passports only. Retired and superseded passports cost nothing, ever — archive retention included.
- No charge per amendment and no charge per registry submission — correct and resubmit a passport as often as the regulation requires; neither is metered.
Industrial battery passports at three annual volumes: the platform fee plus one-off activations in the first year, then the maintenance that recurs each year on the passports still live.

Illustrative, not a quote. Year-one total is the platform fee plus one-off activations. Maintenance is billed at your subscription anniversary on the passports still live — 20% of activation per category — and recurs each year; retired and superseded passports drop out. EUR and GBP at the same figure; other currencies on request.
Priced for the operator who has to comply — not for a procurement cycle.
Enterprise DPP and traceability suites are typically sold on annual contracts with implementation fees and a bespoke quote — often four figures a month before a single passport is filed. This platform is the other way round: published rates, the same for everyone, and you pay for the passports you actually activate.
Billed annually, plus implementation and onboarding fees.
- Bespoke quote — and a sales cycle to get one
- Seat tiers and modules priced separately
from €25 per passport activated, plus annual maintenance while it stays live — and nothing for an unused quota.
- Published rates, self-serve — no sales cycle
- No seat tiers, no per-module upsell
The monthly figure shown is an illustrative market reference for enterprise DPP suites, not a quote from any named provider. Enterprise pricing varies and is usually not published.
One platform fee, published per-passport rates, nothing to chase.
Backup and full-period retention are inside the platform fee, because the record must persist. Activation and maintenance are published by battery category, so you can model your total cost — the first year and every year after — before you ever talk to us.
No per-seat pricing
Your whole team works on one account. You pay for passports placed on the EU market, not logins.
Backup is not an upsell
In-EU backup hosting and full-period retention are part of the platform fee, because the record must persist.
Transparent on purpose
Compliance buyers distrust “contact us” pricing. The structure is public so you can budget first.
