Using the Data Mapper for Custom Column Names
What is the data mapper?
The EU Digital Passport Processor™ data mapper creates a saved profile that translates your source file's column names into EU Digital Passport Processor™'s Annex XIII field names. Once saved, the mapping is applied automatically every time you import — you never need to reformat your ERP export.
The data mapper is included in all EU Digital Passport Processor™ subscriptions. Demo accounts use the standard CSV template only.
Creating an inbound mapping
Go to Settings → Import and click Configure Field Mapping, or go to Settings → Data Mappings → Create Inbound Mapping.
Upload a sample file
Upload a representative sample (CSV, XLSX, JSON, or XML, max 5 MB). EU Digital Passport Processor™ detects column headers and shows a preview of the first 3 rows.
Map fields
For each column in your file, select the corresponding EU Digital Passport Processor™ Annex XIII field from the dropdown. EU Digital Passport Processor™ pre-selects obvious matches automatically — for example, your column BATTERY_WEIGHT_KG is suggested as Battery Weight. Set fields you don't need to Skip this field.
Value mappings
If your system uses different values for controlled vocabulary fields, configure translations here. Example: your SAP exports chemistry as LFP-CELL — map to EU Digital Passport Processor™ value LFP. Controlled vocabulary fields: Battery Category, Battery Chemistry, Battery Status, Passport Level, Economic Operator Role.
Save
Give the mapping a name (e.g. "SAP export format") and optionally set it as the default for this file format. On your next import in the same format, EU Digital Passport Processor™ applies this mapping automatically.
